Winnie is a sweet, social butterfly! She has established good relationships with her caretakers and peers. She loves to give hugs and enjoys sitting on the lap of her nannies. She is a happy little girl who loves to dance to music.
Winnie tries to repeat words she hears and will copy others. She knows the names of familiar caregivers and friends and will point to them if asked. When she wants something, she will point to the object indicating a need. Winnie will stand still and look away when she doesn’t want to do something.
She enjoys playing with others and will give toys to other children so they can sit and play together. Winnie loves to interact with others and involve herself in activities at her orphanage. She can walk, run, sleep through the night and is a good eater! She is also learning to dress herself. She is adorable!
An ideal adoptive family for Winnie will be understand the effects of prenatal exposure and be willing to educate themselves on how to best support her as she grows. She will benefit from speech therapy and should live near an area where this can be provided. Since Winnie enjoys being so social, she would likely do well with siblings in her adoptive family.
