Ten-year-old Tanny needs an adoptive family! She says she dreams of having a family, where she is cared for by parents and has siblings to love and spend time with.
Tanny is described as quiet and introverted. Her caregivers say she has a gentle nature and follows instructions well. She enjoys helping her caregivers around the center and taking care of the younger children. The last time she was asked, Tanny said she hoped to become a teacher someday.
Some of Tanny’s favorite activities are reading books and playing with her two best friends. Like many girls her age, she loves getting new clothes and dressing up! She can be shy around strangers but warms up when playing with her friends and people she knows well.
Tanny has some developmental and learning delays. Tanny needs an adoptive family with access to excellent educational and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) resources, and a knowledge of or willingness to learn about older child adoption. Her adoptive parent(s) should be motivated to build her up and encourage her self-expression. They should also be committed to helping Tanny reach her full potential!
Could you or someone you know be the right family for Tanny?

Hi. My husband and I have been interested in adoption for quite some time. Could you please help us learn about this process and give us more info on Tanny? We are a family of 5. My husband and I will celebrate 25 years of marriage this July. We have a 21 year old son. We have a 10 year old daughter. And my Mom lives with us. My husband will be 49 this month, and I turned 51 in April. Currently my email is not working, so a text or call would be best.
Hi Melissa, please give our Eugene office a call at (541) 687-2202 to provide your contact information so our adoption team can get in touch with you!
