Pisoung lives with his parents, and older sister. His mother is a cake seller and earns only 2 USD a day. He sometimes does farming and stays at home to take care of children. His father is a construction worker at Preah Vihea province and he sends money USD 100 a month to support the family, including children?s education in particular. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children.
His physical and mental health was fine upon enrollment. He sanitizes and dresses well because her mother looks after him very well.
Pisoung was enrolled in the community preschool by his parents. His age was right for schooling and his parents believed that going to school could help him prepare well for grade 1.
