Hi, I'm Dang Khoi
I'm a boy, 5 years old and live in Vietnam.
Khoi comes from a low-income household. His mother has had an intellectual and neurological disability since she was young and must take medication regularly. Her job involves selling cakes and sweet soup. His father works as a seafarer, using an inflatable head to scuba dive to catch seafood. He typically works about 20 days a month. However, his seafaring job is unstable, and unfortunately, there are many days when unfavorable weather leaves him with no source of income. Despite their efforts, their family income is low, and their expenses exceed what they can afford. With two children of school age, the cost of education is a significant concern. Their family has no other sources of income. They need support to improve their financial situation. Fortunately, he has received financial assistance from the FPR program to purchase a new fishing net, enabling him to catch more fish and shrimp, thus increasing the family's income and allowing his children to continue their education.
