Hi, I'm Tri Van
I'm a boy, 4 years old and live in Vietnam.
Tri Van currently lives with his older brother, sister, mother, and grandparents. The father abandoned the family when the mother was pregnant with Tri Van. The grandparents are unable to work due to their illnesses. His grandfather has a spinal disease, and his grandmother has been diagnosed with high blood pressure. As a result, they stay at home to manage household chores and care for their grandchildren. The mother is the primary provider for the family. She runs a breakfast-selling business, selling Vietnamese rice noodle dishes with sliced beef and pork knuckles. Despite her diligent work, the total income is not enough to cover the family’s expenses and the cost of school supplies for her three children. To increase her income, she received financial assistance from our FPR program to expand the beef noodle-selling business in the afternoon, which will help support the family and ensure that Tri Van can continue going to school.
