Hi, I'm Thao
I'm a girl, 3 years old and live in Vietnam.
Thao was born at a general hospital and then was transferred to a children’s hospital for treatment for her neonatal infection. At the time of admission, there was no relative accompanying with this little girl except the medical staff of the hospital. The children's hospital had been treated and cared for the child for three months and eleven days and her health was stable. During the treatment time, the hospital tried to contact with the child’s family but failed. Finally, the hospital cooperated with the local authorities to make minutes of abandoned child and moved her to this orphanage for care.
Thao was diagnosed with neonatal infection and umbilical hernia when she was hospitalized. She was born to an HIV-positive mother.
Based on the medical file, her parents were supposed to live in a province belonged to the Mekong Delta region. The orphanage will send an official letter to the address given to verify the case.
