Hi, I'm Anh
I'm a girl, 3 years old and live in Vietnam.
Anh comes from a poor household family. Her family includes her parents, sister, and herself. Her father, once a hired cowherder, suffered a serious leg injury while cutting grass for cows. The mower blades severely damaged his legs, requiring two tendon surgeries and regular check-ups at the Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Center, 130 km away. He’s now preparing for surgery to remove the metal plates and screws, with hopes of walking again. Due to his injury, Anh’s mother became the sole breadwinner. She works as a caretaker for cow. This job involves tending to and nurturing these cow for productive. Her earnings from this irregular employment are around 12 USD per month. To help them, local authorities referred their case to Holt Vietnam. Since May 2024, they’ve received a grant to raise chickens, aiming to improve their economic situation.
