Hi, I'm Nichapat
I'm a girl, 13 years old and live in Thailand.
At that time, the child was an 8.11-year-old girl studying in the third grade. The child was under the care of her mother alone, as her parents had separated when she was five years old. She had three siblings, two older sisters and a younger brother. After the separation, the two older sisters went to live with their father, while the child stayed with her mother. Her mother worked as a laborer in a beverage factory and had only one day off per week. The family rented a house for 1,200 baht per month. Every morning, the mother would go to work and drop off the child at school, where she was usually one of the first students to arrive. The family's income was not sufficient to cover their expenses, and they were struggling financially. The local municipality recommended they seek our support on the child's education expenses.
