I'm a girl, 15 years old and live in Southeast Asia.
Mary Joy Pulido was brought to Little Angels Home Inc. on February 22, 2010, by her Maternal Aunt accompanied by a social worker for temporary shelter and further case management. When admitted at LAHI, the child was almost one month old and weighed 4 kilograms. Mary Joy Pulido’s mother is the 9th among the siblings of ten. She married at a very young age, having more relations with different men. She became drug dependent and again got pregnant with unidentified father. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia and undergone treatment, but after she stopped taking it, her mental issue re-occurred. She became pregnant again with Mary Joy, also with unknown father. Mary Joy was cared by the maternal aunt until the time of admission. The aunt has 7 children and couldn't take the responsibility of raising Mary Joy.
