Both the parents are generating income for their family. The father is a construction worker who earns 600php but seasonal and the mother accept laundry works for 600php and 600php for ironing the clothes. With the big number in their family, they have challenges providing all their means. Although three of the 6 siblings have their own family, three are still studying including Patrick. Patrick, as shared by his parents, needs assistance in terms of financial support, school supplies and school uniform. At the very young age, Patrick wants to finish his studies and become a teacher someday.
