Both parents are generating income but at the very minimum wage. The mother sometimes does extra work as a canteen helper earning only 200php a day while the father is a vegetable farmer. Given the unstable and minimal income, making both ends meet is a challenge for the family. As shared, it is important for them that their child will be included in the program because of the financial difficulty. Mara needs school supplies and school uniforms. Mara wants to finish her studies and be a Science Teacher someday.
