Iriz, together with her three siblings, were referred by Rosalie Rendu Development Center for temporary residential care as her mother showed negligent behavior towards them while her father had no regular job to provide for their needs. Iriz had normal mental and physical health. The family lived in a contested lot as an informal settler. The children had no idea of breakfast, lunch or dinner since food was served in different time of the day, and sometimes they only ate once or twice a day.
