On September 8, 2023, Center Head received a call from a social worker requesting for temporary shelter of a newborn baby found in a transient house at Upper Roack Quarry, Baguio City at around 6:40 in the morning of the same day. The baby was immediately rushed at the hospital for medical intervention until her discharge and referral to Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) on September 25, 2023 for temporary shelter and protective custody.
