
Hi, I'm Burensodnom
I'm a boy, 10 years old and live in Mongolia.
Tarialan soum of Khuvsgul province is located 600 km away from Ulaanbaatar city and 200 km away from the center of Khuvsgul aimag. Most households don’t have sustainable income source and majority of them have seasonal work based on environment and livestock farming. Due to these seasonal works, the majority of households of Tarialan soum are not able to have sustainable monthly income and unable to provide basic needs of their children. Foods and consumer goods are very expensive. Burensodnom has cerebral palsy. His mother stays home with her children, his father works in school. Without job and unable to support her children, the mother approached the Committee for Supporting Livelihood of soum for help.
Burensodnom had cerebral palsy during admitting in the program.
Burensodnom lives with his parents and siblings. His mother is unemployed. The family lives in a difficult situation. The winter is long and harsh, with temperatures here typically ranging from -20°C to – 45°C degrees in Khuvsgul. Many times, they had to go without food, and without wood for fire. Also, his parents don’t have any knowledge about cerebral palsy.
