Hi, I'm Chinguun
I'm a boy, 8 years old and live in Mongolia.
Tarialan soum of Khuvsgul province is located 600 km away from Ulaanbaatar city and 200 km away from the center of Khuvsgul aimag. Most households don’t have sustainable income source and majority of them have seasonal work based on environment and livestock farming. Due to these seasonal works, the majority of households of Tarialan soum are not able to have sustainable monthly income and unable to provide basic needs of their children. Foods and consumer goods are very expensive compared with center of province or Ulaanbaatar city. The family live in the soum. The mother is single and has four children. Without sustainable monthly income and unable to support their children, his mother approached the Committee for Supporting Livelihood of soum for help.
He was healthy during admission into the program.
Chinguun lives with his mother and his siblings. His mother did not receive an education and could not find a job in the soum. The family lives in the difficult situation. The family’s income is money from the Social Welfare Service. It is not sufficient to fully support both of his and his sibling’s necessary supply and daily meal. His mother divorced her husband.
