Hi, I'm Mendamar
I'm a boy, 14 years old and live in Mongolia.
Mendamar's family is poor and lives in a Ger dwelling. The mother is unemployed and facing challenges to raise her children. She approached the Social Services Department of the district and the department asked us to help the family.
He did not have any serious health problems upon admission.
The family moved from the Tuv Aimag province in the countryside to Ulaanbaatar city in 2012, in search of a better life. The father left the family when the youngest child was an infant and without a job, the single mother collects recyclable items from the trash to make a living. They receive child support funds of 20.000 tugrik ($12) from the government each month. This small income barely provides for their basic needs.
