Hi, I'm Nigatu
I'm a boy, 9 years old and live in Ethiopia.
The Kebele and the Wallana 1st Kale Heywet church selected the child and the child has been brought in to care in this academic year by his mother because it’s the only KG school near from where he lives, there is quality education and there is no school fee. In addition to that, his family is not capable of addressing his educational needs due to their poor economic status. Nigatu is living with both parents with a family size of 10. He is the 7th child and has 7 siblings of which 5 brothers and 2 sisters. His father is a farmer which is subsistence farming and his mother is a house wife. The parents are struggling to address the basic needs and educational materials needs of their children. Due to this; they believe that having the Wallana KG school in the area is a great opportunity.
