Hi, I'm Yi
I'm a boy, 9 years old and live in China.
Yi Chen’s family consists of five people, including his grandfather, grandmother, father, younger brother, and himself. His younger brother and he both have speech disabilities. His mother left the family when he was only two years old and has not contacted them since. To make ends meet, the father works at a construction site and earns very little. The two boys are currently attending a special school. On Mondays, their grandfather picks them up from school and drops them off on Fridays. Their grandmother works in the fields to supplement the family's income, and they barely make ends meet. Additionally, the family owes 15,000 yuan for medical expenses.
