Hi, I'm Puthratanak
I'm a boy, 12 years old and live in Cambodia.
Puthratanak was referred to the Holt Education Support program by a key person in the Lou village. He is at high risk of dropping out. His parents try hard to take good care of him.
During enrollment to the Holt program, Puthratanak immunizations were complete. He has suffered from pneumonia recently. He was sent to Khuntheak Bopha hospital and was under examination by specialist doctor there. He was hospitalized for thee days and returned home with medicine. He is doing much better now.
He is the youngest son among other two siblings. The family’s income stem from only his father, who works as repairmen in the TELA company and his mother is a housewife. The father's salary is low and not sufficient for the families basic needs. The family owns their house - about 8 x 6 meters and made from wood with a zinc roof. The family does not have debt, however, the mother suffers from chronic gastroenteritis and the medication is costly. The family is grateful for the help in supporting their son's education.
