Hi, I'm Sreynoy
I'm a girl, 14 years old and live in Cambodia.
Sreynoy was selected into our program because her family is very poor.
Her mental and physical health were fine upon enrollment. She has not the good habit of cleaning herself yet.
Sreynoy lives with her grandmother. Her parents got divorce. Her father never supports her after breaking with the mother. Her mother remarried and has a son, and she is now pregnant again. Her mother and step-father work as construction workers in Phnom Penh and send money to support her study and food, USD 25 per month. Her grandmother sells fried potato a little bit along the village and school and she sometimes is hired cleaning chicken, and earns USD 1.5 a day. This amount of money is allocated for day-to-day expenses. It is surely not enough for Sreynoy's schooling. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children.
