Hi, I'm Chanras
I'm a boy, 14 years old and live in Cambodia.
Chanras belongs to a poor family in the community and his mother is a member of our Savings Group. The parents have no stable work and the child needs support to go to school.
Chanras had good health and looked strong when he was accepted into the program. He is provided with enough nutritious food and kept clean by his mother.
Chanras lives in a big family with his parents and other siblings. His three elder brothers got married and started their new lives, while the other sibling dropped out of school and accepts construction jobs or factory work to support the family. His parents plant rice and raise some animals at home. After the harvest season, his parents also work as construction workers or accept various odd jobs to make extra money.
