Hi, I'm Sovderdene
I'm a girl, 12 years old and live in Mongolia.
The mother is a widow, has four children, and is employed at a Charity organization receiving a minimum wage which couldn't support her children with enough food, clothes, and educational items. She came to us with referral from the district Social Services. Sovderdene was healthy upon admission. The family lives in a poorly built one-room house, and this house needs considerable repair. There is no running water and no electricity in the house. Her father died from illness two years ago. The family spent all their saving and took a loan for the treatment of their father. The mother said she is worried about her children because the house is not suitable for living, and she cannot find another place to live. There is not only a shortage of food supply but also of fuel. Coal is expensive and it won't be easy to keep the house warm in winter.
