Hi, I'm Sokleang
I'm a girl, 13 years old and live in Cambodia.
Sokleang was selected for the program by the community leader and interview by a social worker. Her grandmother and mother always give all good advice to her about studying and having better hygiene.
During admission, Sokleang’s mental and physical health was good. She went to school regularly. She is growing up according to her age.
Sokleang comes from a poor family living in Lou village Phnom Penh. She has one older brother who is disabled. She has a twin sister who is in the same class as her. Her mother has heart disease and needs medicine every day. She is unable to work and stays home with the children, sometimes she picks up recycle. Her father is a motor taxi driver and earns an unstable income. It is not enough to cover the daily expenses. They feel happy that Sokleang is in the program to get support for her schooling.
