Hi, I'm Allen
I'm a girl, 4 years old and live in Uganda.
According to the mother, Allen stays with her both parents who are peasant farmers at Wakivule village. Allen is the 6th child in the family of 8 children. The parents no longer have land to do cultivation of food for home consumption. They used to hire some land but it was sold off by the owners. The parents toil every day to support their family yet with no serious work to earn a living. They live on a small piece of land that is not enough to do any cultivation. They cannot afford to support the children in the family given that the number is big. As such, they have no clear source of income to support Allen and her siblings especially in the areas of education, health, beddings, nutrition, clothing and other home basics like soap, sugar and others.
