Hi, I'm Fazirah
I'm a girl, 4 years old and live in Uganda.
Fazirah stays with both parents in a grass thatched house in the village of Kawe. The caregivers do casual work like brick laying and people’s gardens within the village to earn income. They are peasant farmers who cultivate food crops on a small piece of land for home consumption. They are four children and Fazirah is the second child in the family. The child loves studying but the father has two wives and cannot afford to provide for the two families with basic requirements like beddings, clothing, food and medical services. They cannot afford to support the children in the family. As such, they have no clear source of income to support Fazirah and her siblings, says the mother.
