Hi, I'm Loi
I'm a boy, 14 years old and live in Vietnam.
Loi's family is listed as a poor household by the local authorities. Currently, they are living in a makeshift house. The roof is often leaked after heavy rains. Loi’s parents are farmers. They grow rice and cashew plants. They harvest one crop a year. After finishing the crop, they work for hire on a farm to make a living. However, their job does not bring them a stable income because it depends on the local labor market. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his family's economy was affected significantly because his parents were unemployed. Besides, his parents had to sell rice at a very low price. With such a low income, Loi might be at risk of dropping out of school so the local authorities introduced this case to Holt for support. At the admission date, Loi was in normal health condition.
