Hi, I'm Raksmey
I'm a girl, 13 years old and live in Cambodia.
Raksmey was introduced into our program by the office of Commune Committee for Women and Children (CCWC) and village chief because her family is one of the poor families in the community. She has not sufficient food to eat and lacks in proper education.
She has not had any mental and physical health problem upon enrollment.
Raksmey lives with her parents and a sibling. Her mother is the breadwinner to support the family; she works as a garment worker in Phnom Penh and sends money USD 60 a month to support the family. Her mother also carries with blood pressure and needs to take medicines very day. Her father does not have a job; he stays at home to take care of children and grows rice a little bit. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children. Therefore, Raksmey needs sponsorship in order to support her education.
