Nine-year-old Soren needs an adoptive family! A $10,000 grant is available to help with Soren’s adoption.
Soren’s caregivers say that “he is a happy and lively boy who always brings joy to people around him!” Known for his cheerfulness, courage and energy, Soren is waiting for an adoptive family who will embrace and love him.
Soren loves school and is going into the fourth grade! Developmentally, Soren is on track for his age group. His caregiver says Soren does well academically because he is “self-aware” and “disciplined.” He was the most outstanding student in the first and second grades. Kind-hearted and helpful, Soren is always happy to offer assistance to the other students in his class.
Some of Soren’s favorite activities include reading or playing with LEGOs or Pokémon with his friends. He also likes to go to the playground, run and play football! He also enjoys animals, including dogs and cats.
Soren takes medication to manage ADHD and has some eczema and food allergies but is otherwise in good health. He understands the idea of adoption and longs for a stable and loving family. Soren needs an adoptive family who is knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about older child adoption and has access to excellent educational and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) resources.
