Teri is described as persistent, gentle, introverted, independent and cheerful. She attends first grade. She likes to engage with others through play. Reports also say she helps to care for the younger children in her child care center.
The ideal adoptive family must be well versed in trauma-informed parenting and understand how to help with self-regulation skills and OT/sensory processing assessment and integration. Teri should be the youngest child in the home with no children close in age and no vulnerable children in the home. Teri's adoptive family should have trauma-informed parenting experience.
If you think you or someone you know could be the right family for Teri, please email our waiting child team at [email protected]! We cannot share photos of her publicly due to country restrictions on privacy. However, we do have more photos and videos available to share with prospective families.
