Tightly-knit siblings Nina and Drew are waiting for a family! Could you or someone you know be the right fit for them?
Meet brother and sister duo, Nina and Drew! Nina is 14, and her caregivers describe her as a very smart girl. In her class at school, she is one of the top students! She loves to study, but she also loves being active. She will participate in just about any sports activity. In the future, she hopes to become a doctor. Nina is close to her brother and appreciates how kind and sweet he is to her.
Drew is 12, and his caregivers say he enjoys helping others. He is also attentive, respectful, collaborative and loving. In the future, he wants to be a policeman so he can continue to use this skill of caring for other people. Drew loves playing soccer. He practices and plays with a local soccer team 2-3 times a week. At school, his teachers say he is respectful towards peers and teachers. Drew hopes a mom and dad will adopt him in the future! Most of all, he wants to stay with his sister Nina, with whom he is very strongly bonded.
Nina and Drew have remained together because of their connection and fondness for each other. We are advocating for them to find an adoptive family together, so they can maintain their family connection in their new home.
Nina and Drew need a family who is familiar with sibling dynamics and older child adoption. The family should be equipped to utilize TBRI® techniques to help Drew and Nina feel secure in their new environment.
