Mimi is eager to give and receive affection from adults she has come to trust. When she feels safe with adults, she willingly communicates her feelings and wishes. She is especially attached to her foster mother, whose patience and affirmation have helped Mimi blossom in their home.
Mimi’s teachers have found her to be sociable and friendly, able to communicate her thoughts and excited to interact and share with her peers. Since coming to foster care she has made excellent progress academically, and with speech therapy her language is on target for her age with no delays!
Mimi loves to play with dolls, play board games, watch TV and go to the park. Mimi also loves to dance!
We expect Mimi to thrive in a home with no siblings, where either a single mother or a two-parent household will be able to give her the individual attention and affirmation she is looking for.
Access to mental health and excellent medical services nearby should be available, as well as Spanish-speaking service providers, parenting resources, an understanding of TBRI and access to a good school system.
