This is Mesi! He needs an adoptive family, could you or someone you know be the right fit for him?
At 14 years old, Mesi wants to be adopted by a loving family. But he worries that he is too old to be adopted and no one will want him. His caregivers describe him as a social, well-intended and amiable child who gets along with peers and adults alike. He has several close friends at school that he is especially attached to.
Mesi prefers playing and hanging out outside to staying inside and watching TV. He enjoys soccer, volleyball and drawing, demonstrating significant aptitude for all three.
When describing Mesi’s personality, those who know him say he is kind, respectful, shy and particularly helpful. He never says no when asked for help, and he is eager to help around the house with chores like cooking and cleaning.
Mesi would love an adoptive home with animals, maybe a dog or a cat! But his favorite animal is a little bunny because they are so cute. He would be thrilled to have one as a pet.
Mesi’s caregivers say he would benefit from a family that encourages Mesi to challenge himself, with plenty of affirmation and love! He has no developmental or cognitive delays, and he does well in school when he applies himself. The ideal family for Mesi will be prepared for older child adoption, and have an acquaintance with TBRI techniques. Mostly, Mesi needs a family that will make him feel safe and loved so he can thrive!
