Leo needs an adoptive family! Could you or someone you know have room in your heart for this lovable four-year-old?
Leo’s foster parents describe him as an affectionate and sociable child who loves to share and show off his toys! Leo enjoys playing games with friends, going on walks in the garden and playing with balls and cars at the park. He also likes to listen to music (while clapping along!) and loves it when someone sits down to tell him a story.
Leo has a hemiplegia and an unusual nervous system disorder, which come with some related language and motor delays. He is currently attending physical therapy. Although he occasionally has trouble with his right leg, he moves freely and is able to walk, run, speed up, slow down and balance without trouble.
Leo is a playful and loving little boy who interacts with the world with happiness and curiosity. Leo just needs a family to love him!
The ideal family for Leo will understand his medical history, needs, and how those will impact his growth and development. His family will need to have identified excellent resources and medical therapies to help him reach his full potential. Leo’s family should be prepared to provide him with a safe, stimulating, and attentive environment. They should also have excellent medical knowledge and access, and be prepared to parent a child with ongoing care needs.
Leo’s face is covered due to country restrictions on privacy, but we have photos and videos of him that we would love to share with prospective families! Leo is also the recipient of a Families Not Finances (FNF) grant to help cover adoption expenses. If you think you could be the right family for Leo, please email us at [email protected].
