Meet Ellie, Yanis, Sammy and Ethan! These four closely knit siblings need an adoptive family! Could you or someone you know be the right fit?
Ellie, 10, is a kind and attentive girl who loves to play with dolls, pretend to do nails and hair and spend time outside with her friends. Ellie is very musical and enjoys singing, dancing, and playing guitar and flute. She is responsible and — though introverted — is a natural leader. An ideal family will help Ellie learn the role of a parent, as she was responsible for her siblings when living with her birth family.
Yanis, 7, is an empathetic and active boy who enjoys soccer, skateboarding, playing cards and doing crafts. Yanis is very relational and will thrive with reassurance and emotional support from an adoptive family.
Sammy, 4, is a sweet, playful little girl who likes to play outside and dance. She loves toys and is learning to share with her friends. Sammy is currently growing in her ability to express her emotions. An ideal adoptive family will have a good understanding of the effects of potential prenatal alcohol exposure.
Ethan, 2, is a smiley, observant little boy. He likes to be held and will reach out his arms and hands when he wants to be picked up. He makes good eye contact and can follow simple instructions. Ethan is delayed in some areas compared to his peers but has made great progress in the past year with the help of therapy.
An ideal adoptive family for Ellie, Yanis, Sammy and Ethan will have a good understanding of attachment, neglect and prenatal exposures. A loving family with time, resources and access to various therapies will help these closely knit siblings thrive.
