Demi Urgently Needs An Adoptive Family!

This is Demi! She is fifteen and at risk of aging out of international adoption. Demi is positive about the prospect of being adopted, and mostly she wants a loving, permanent family who will give her love and security.

If you think you or someone you know could be a good fit for Demi, please email us at [email protected].

Demi enjoys being creative. She has an active, energetic imagination when she plays with her friends and also when she is alone. If she’s not with her friends, Demi enjoys sitting down to do arts and crafts. Her caregivers describe her as an independent girl who gets along very well with both peers and adults.

She also enjoys her independence. Demi usually gravitates toward leadership roles in her relationships, but she always remains self-aware about her interactions with peers and adults. She is thoughtful, considerate and appreciates affirmation when she receives it.

Demi is also aware of her emotions and operates with emotional stability in her experiences and relationships. She does not have tendencies toward anxiety or depression, and she has a generally happy and cheerful personality. Her caregivers also describe her as honest and assertive.

In the future, Demi hopes to find a permanent family with good living conditions where her needs will be met and where she can feel secure. Demi wants to feel loved and be part of a family, where she will experience respect and she will be able to assert herself as a person.

An ideal adoptive family for Demi will have older child parenting experience. They should also have access to educational resources to help her reach her potential. The family should understand TBRI® techniques to help her process through past experiences. If you are interested in learning more about Demi, please email us at [email protected].
