Caylee’s caregivers describe her as as a vibrant, talkative and cheerful child. She is very social and loves to be involved with activities and help her caregivers. She is affectionate and enjoys giving and getting hugs and attention. According to her caregivers, Caylee has grown more confident and come out of her shell recently.
An active child, Caylee enjoys physical and pretend play. Some of her favorite things to do include exploring the outdoors, singing, playing “house,” playing with dolls and pretending to cook. She likes to play with others. During downtime, Caylee enjoys sensory activities like painting and playing with water or sand. Caylee currently attends a local preschool. Her teachers say Caylee is quick to volunteer and help, verbally communicates her needs, and interacts well with her classmates.
Caylee needs a loving, patient and active adoptive family. Because Caylee enjoys playing with other children, she would likely do well with siblings. The ideal family for Caylee will have access to excellent therapeutic interventions (occupational, physical and speech therapies). Her adoptive family should have a strong support system and be open to potential unknowns in Caylee’s development.
