Anna, at 10 years old, is extroverted and cooperative. She loves to be independent! She plays well with others, and enjoys volleyball and riding bikes outside with her friends.
Anna currently lives with a foster family, where she has bonded particularly well with her foster father and foster brother. She gravitates toward her foster father when she needs comfort. Anna loves his hugs!
Anna’s teachers say she has a good memory, attention span and problem solving abilities. At school, Anna loves math, language studies and art. She would like to be a math teacher when she grows up!
The ideal adoptive family for Anna will be familiar with older child adoption, institutionalization and developmental trauma. They should also have good access to the therapeutic resources that will help Anna connect and thrive! Anna would do best in a two-parent household.
