Maddy loves music and dancing. She is described by her caregivers as bubbly, sweet and affectionate! Maddy is living with Down Syndrome, and has been diagnosed with developmental delays and a heart defect. She currently has a pacemaker. Maddy communicates with words, gestures and basic signs.

Maddy needs an adoptive family who has access to excellent pediatric medical resources for ongoing cardiac support. She needs specialized educational supports along with occupational and speech therapy. The ideal family will understand the life-long impact of Down Syndrome and have plans for providing Maddy with life-long support/intervention.
