Recently, Korean adoptee Theodore Boylan took a few moments to share his experience with Holt and thank our post-adoption services department.
(Note: Sunday Silver is our records and information administrator on Holt’s post-adoption services team.)
I would like to take a moment and commend Holt International on the job they have done since the 1970s to the present. Holt brought me to my mom and dad many decades ago and to the most loving family that I still have. We loved attending the Holt picnics growing up!
I also went on the homeland tour back when I was 18 for my graduation present and met other kids throughout the US that were adopted the same time I was. … At the end we got paired for the flight back home with a child to take care of and meet with the social worker or adoption agent and handed the newly adopted baby to their new parents. It was amazing.
I am now in my 50s and Holt has been unwavering. I out of the blue called Holt’s post-adoption services team to get some information to help get documentation, and from the start of this process, Sunday from Holt has been absolutely amazing! Sunday has gone above and beyond the call to help an adoptee that asked for the help of a complete stranger!
In this day and age, there are not many people that would go out of their way to help a complete stranger try to accomplish a terrible task. But Sunday did!
Thank you for all the help and please keep doing God’s work helping people make their lives better.
Sincerely,
Theodore Kim Boylan
