A Coat for Chaya

Chaya is now nice and warm on her morning walk to school — thanks to your support!

Last winter, Chaya was cold on her daily walk to school. She lives in Cambodia, but even in places with warm climates, children can suffer when temperatures drop.

“Having warm and comfortable winter coats becomes increasingly important as the winter season approaches and the temperature feels extremely cold for children,” say staff at Holt Cambodia.

But this winter, Chaya will be warm and comfortable — because of the warm coat you gave her!

“These coats are not only a comfort, but also a need for kids like Chaya,” Holt Cambodia says.

Chaya is 12 years old and lives with her grandmother because her parents are unable to care for her. Chaya receives support from Holt donors to ensure that all of her needs are met, so that she can remain in her grandmother’s loving care.
