On International Children’s Day, you helped children celebrate in one of the best ways possible — with food!
Each year, Holt sponsors and donors help children all around the world celebrate International Children’s Day. These celebrations happen at all Holt-supported schools, preschools and daycares. And we do them “birthday style” — complete with presents, a party and a very special meal.
In Vietnam, sponsors provided children at a daycare with a huge celebration feast!
Seated in child-sized chairs at child-sized tables, children enjoyed some of their favorite foods. There was watermelon, yogurt drinks and even some special candies.
Children at this daycare receive a nutritious meal every day thanks to your support. But they were thrilled to have an extra special meal on this day. They truly look forward to it all year!
