My husband and I have also adopted a wonderful little boy from China. We brought him home to join his sister, who we adopted from China in 2004, in December of 2008. What a blessing he has been to our lives! He had a left clubfoot which was easily corrected. He will wear a brace at night until he's three or four. We've learned that when you open your heart to unknown possibilities, God provides more than you could have ever hoped for! Enjoy your precious family!

Thank you so very much for sharing your journey. My incredible boss/friend (who adopted a beautiful, amazing son over a year ago for China) forwarded this email to me and I just had to send you a quick note to tell you how beautiful and amazing BOTH your children are and how much you have inspired me. We are blessed to have an amazing daughter from China given to us after the loss of our biological son as well and are in the process of adopting a boy (our paper work is in the Ethiopia program but we are open to other options as well) Thank you for the useful and wonderful information! Best wishes to you and your family!

Two thumbs way up for boys! We have two little boys from India. Our first was 2 when we adopted him and our latest was 3. While their grieving of their orphanage and foster home, respectively, were the most difficult things I have ever witnessed, it also filled us with reassurance that they had been happy, secure and loved. They adapted so quickly and love each other more than I dared hope for two little boys. Our first son is now 7 and this Halloween has abandoned ninjas and clone troopers in favor of George Washington. We are trying to talk him into letting us powder his beautiful black curls, but so far he is resisting. We could not be more blessed and proud. My husband has always had a soft spot for girls, but he often smiles while watching the boys and affirms, "We did good."

Your story has touched my heart. My husband and I are in the process of adopting a son from China. We are getting ready to do our homestudy. It just seems that the wait is going to be so long. We are ready to go now and bring him home, but we know it will be a while before that happens. Thank you so much for your story. You have two beautiful children.
