Only a few weeks ago Eli Werness was in a child care center in Ethiopia waiting for his adoptive parents. And now, he’s already meeting the presumptive Democratic nominee for President of the United States, Barack Obama, up close and personal.
The little boy was one of the first Holt is placing with adoptive parents from that country.
“We have told everyone,” said his mother Lisa, “no one can hold Eli except for his mom and dad for the first few months…however, today he had the chance to meet and be held by Barack Obama! Leave it to Eli’s Dad to create opportunities for him from the very start.”
